The Pump Mistress is an entertaining journey into the supernatural world of Voodoo and Black Magic in New Orleans. The Libre family, a multi-cultural and generational ancestral history dating through the 1800’s end of the Civil War era, until present 21st Century.

The Libre family legacy began on the Bradford plantation in Louisiana, under the control of General David Bradford in command of the Confederate army, General Bradford skillfully convinced the Southern army to surrender to the Union North army, thus saving the South from chaos and economic ruin by replacing freed American slaves with Haitian laborers seeking refuge from the prolong effects of the Haitian Revolution War.

General Bradford’s wife Mrs. Sarah Bradford and their four children three boys’ one girl accompanied with a house servant a young beautiful teenage black girl named Angelique Fan-chon which soon became the Generals lover and mother of his child.

The birth of Angelique’s child caused Mrs. Bradford to instigated anguish for her; to avoid tensions Angelique would retreat to the fields with the Haitian laborers this is where she met a young Haitian woman named Dalia, who spoke of a deadly secret ritual, this practice originated in West Africa and cultivated in Haiti. How tribal women would use to crush unruly tribal men under their feet powered by a super natural dark realm that would send the men’s crushed souls to a hellish chamber.

The Haitian people did not share the same customs as their American counterparts, customs Mrs. Bradford feared. Although Angelique did not believe in the supernatural, she seized the opportunity to take advantage of Mrs. Bradford fears and inadvertently to her the sacred ritual was real causing Angelique to devise an ill-fated plan that will set into motion a series of deadly catastrophic events leading to the execution deaths of Mrs. Bradford and her three children, dozens of Haitian plantation workers slaughtered, transcending the Generals soul to a hellish chamber, and the brutal murder of Angelique herself, ultimately sealing a blood oath contract that will be passed down to generations, a deadly curse that must be upheld by the Libre’s, Angelique’s descendants.

The Pump Mistress follows the life and times of Angelique Fan-chon; the script needs to show how things occurred during that period of time, a young beautiful naive black girl that labors as a domestic caregiver for a white powerful family but gets caught up into a love affair, that leads to catastrophic events that will follow her descendants to time indefinite into the 21st Century.
